The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.
3
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

Room with private bathroom, recently renovated, very clean. Theresa is a very attentive hostess, coffee, tea, whiskey and cereal bars were waiting for us in the room. The breakfast is plentiful, varied and good. I highly recommend.

A short walk from the main centre. Pleasant stroll in fine weather. Host was kind and really did want you to enjoy your stay. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Free parking

At the end of the day, a hotel stay is about a good night's sleep and if you can't sleep well, all is lost! In this instance, the bed was no good and had a sag at the mid-leg level... within minutes my back was hurting and there's not much you can do at 10pm in a bed and breakfast when you know the host has gone to bed and the other rooms are full. And to be fair, being put in the awkward uncomfortable position of having to complain is not fair on the guest. Shower was tricky and on/off hot water... Toilet seat cover kept falling off...

The room in the Holiday Inn was nice although was a double and not a twin as requested. And was in a different hotel to the one booked!

Hadn’t booked it. Was allegedly an upgrade from booking au Ibis Budget although more to do with room availability. No twin room available at either even though I’d booked a twin.

Attached to the attractive older building is a large , far less attractive red brick block. Which is fine, but the rooms are clearly battered. The decor is mismatched, poor, and basic (the non working bedside lamp pictured my absolute favourite- to think housekeeping had seen that and deemed it acceptable!!) TV did not work, the bathroom, whilst physically clean, was a hotch-potch of retrofitted bits and bobs., broken tiles and missing parts. I paid £122 on business. A third of that is a realistic charge. Looks like the hotel as an asset is just going to get flogged until there’s nothing left. Car park was busy so they’re obviously doing something right
