Location was excellent. We arrived at airport caught bus to terminal which is nearly at your door. Caught the ferry to Shetland Is which once again was just across the road. Room was comfortable, lift not working but staff brought our luggage to our door. Toilet plumbing needs a bit of maintance. Enjoyed breakfast, thought great value for money. 😀

Clean, comfortable, excellent location. Our host Mike friendly and helpful, great breakfast every morning, and went the extra mile to fill our thermos flask with coffee each morning. I recommend staying at Bluestones to anyone.

Parking is problematic in the residential part of Keswick. However, this is a general problem for all b&b's.

We had a great stay, really enjoyed this quirky hotel, good location. Very close to the shopping centre Cabot Circus & a 15-20 mins walk to the waterfront. Uber's were really easy to get there.

We ordered breakfast and waited so long, noticing customers that ordered after us getting their food, I went to ask a waiter where our order was, he said he'd check but didn't come back to us. I asked the waitress that had taken our order, she went to check with the kitchen & said out check had not gone through to the kitchen. Fine mistakes happen but we then waited another 10 minutes, still no breakfast after 40 minutes watching everyone around us eating lovely food. We had to leave without eating which was very annoying, the staff were really bad at keeping us informed and not very helpful unless your order ran smoothly. Such a shame as we loved the hotel.

The supply of coffee was running low: maybe my only minor gripe (which is pretty small, let's face it). The location's slightly out of town, but on multiple bus routes.

I booked in through booking.com and paid immediately for the room. Upon arrival I checked in and was prompted for my card. A staff member suggested this was just to confirm the booking. I actually paid twice for the room! This happened on the 16th April and I have phoned and emailed , been advised they will issue a refund, but still have not received it! I had to spend the night in my car as I did not have the available funds to book my next stay at my new destination.
