The Laurels is located in a lovely area that is in the country side and away from traffic, this helped me sleep really well while I was there. The breakfast was amazing and well prepared every morning by Bill, I will definitely be back again.

Location was great. Self catering accommodation nice cafes nearby or good farm shop. Very well equipped and hosts were super friendly. The accommodation itself was cleaned to a very high standard and the beds were very comfortable.

If anything daughter has limited diet so could have done with a roasting dish or another oven tray of some description but will take my own next time!

Close to the city centre. The staff were nice. The room had a TV with multiple channels available. Kettle, tea, and coffee available in the room. Good hairdryer available in the room. The room’s temperature was comfortable.

The room was very small, especially the bathroom, where you could hardly use the sink or get dressed without bumping your arms against the shower doors. Also, the shower doors did not close properly. The pillows weren’t very comfortable, as they were too thin, and there were no others available in the room, only 1 per bed (did not ask at the reception, though).

Breakfast 1st class. Room was perfect for the two of us apart from the view of the car park. Room was extremely clean. All the cons you needed fridge iron and ironing board, hairdryer, tea and coffee.

Location was great with the beach only a short walk away and added bonus of having a bus stop directly opposite the flat. Great welcoming little flat with super comfortable bed!

Wasn't obvious where the allocated parking space was so would be worth advising guests that they need to park on the grass just outside. Could do with a full length mirror (maybe on the side of the kitchen tall cupboard). Hoover needed emptying so we were put off using it due to the smell. Also, worth notifying guests of the building work going on at the back. These were all only very minor issues and really just suggestions and didn't affect our stay. We really enjoyed it!

If I had one fault it would be that the bedroom windows need blinds as the sun was extremely bright from early morning.
