This was day 10 of the coast to coast walk. It's a bit off the Wainwright trail but I walked it but I think they will pick you up. Room was lovely and very quiet. Nice real ales and food was lovely. Albeit that I could only manage the scotch egg starter and chips but it was stunning! Service brilliant and they took me back to the route next morning. And a bath!!!! I'd walked 20+ miles, just what I needed! Mix up with the payment due to my error which was resolved in such a nice friendly manner. Really reasonable rate too.

Not much I didn't like. If you utilised the pick up and drop off then it's an ideal place to stay on the coast to coast.

Apple tree bungalow was beautiful as are all mark cottages he goes above and beyond and the welcoming pack is a fantastic idea and Sharon as them ammacculate well done 👏

We have previously stayed at the LHR Sofitel which thankfully, Gatwick Sofitel was superior in comparison. Special mention to Yogi for his expertise and great service.

location, cleanliness, nice staff and a relatively comfy bed for the money paid. Good distance from the train station too. Would definetly stay again.

Rooms are really really small. There is also roadworks outside which were extremely loud at 7am on saturday morning. Conscious this is out of the hotels control.

Kitchen was closed when we arrived no prior notification The garden area was over grown with glasses left on the benches which appeared to be there a long time. I booked two rooms one was bigger then the other . The bigger room had no view out the window at all. The small room the bathroom was not ideal for a pregnant woman I had to open the door to use the sink. There was damp on the wall the bed was really uncomfortable We came back from dinner intending to use the bar around 930pm they were completely closed on a sat night. Had to use the metal steps of a fire exit to get to and from our room as pub was closed. Just not worth paying 150 at all. Really disappointed

Staff wasn't understanding of the matter of the fact that my flight was delayed, and yet they still charged me for one full night and didn't took extra step to see weather I could be accomodated for one night.
