Gargrave is an ideal location for canal walks and quite away days. The Old Swan is central to everything and a perfect base to explore the surrounding country side. Parking within the pub ground A large beer garden and various rooms help create a warm, sociable atmosphere.

Hard to locate via google maps. Took us to ibis hotel which wasnt the budget one. Room size was ok we didnt bring alot of baggage. However no wardrobe no iron or anything but then again i get it thats the whole point of being budget hotel Well the price surely wasnt budget at all. Cost us £200 for 2 nights! (Sun and Mon) The bathroom was clean and the plumbing etc was fine but the door had no lock! I get that u probs find alot of druggies booking these hotels but shii atleast put a temporary lock which can be easily opened from outside. Privacy still matters. Also the tv remote was difficult to use The lights in the room were inconveniently bright. Place them in better angels so not too bright. No charger ports near the bed The reason why im listing all this is because for the price i paid i expected alot better standards. Dont charge prices beyong what the room or stay is worth. We didnt even pay for breakfast included. Just room and parking £200 for 2 days! Thats a joke. I wouldnt be complaining if it was £100-130 max
