The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

Our room was lovely- spacious and comfortable. The triple room could comfortably sleep 6 as there was a king bed (actually just two twins put together) and two sleeper sofas, making this great for a family. We arrived far past typical check-in since we booked last minute, but a woman helped us right away and brought extra bedding for the sleeper sofa. The sofas were also deep enough to for one person to sleep on without pulling the mattresses out since the back cushions are removable. The room was very clean, and it had been tastefully renovated. There were charming historic details like built-in bookshelves and dormer windows which let in lots of light. There was also a kettle with plenty of options for hot drinks as well as a mini-fridge- the only accommodation on our trip to have one!

The bathrooms could have been cleaner. They were not exactly dirty, but in need of a deep clean as bathrooms often are at inns and hotels. We weren't bothered by this at all, but it is worth noting that you may hear some noise from the pub, which seems rather popular with locals. The noise was low, but still audible.

We arrived when there were nearly 50+ people queuing to check in, luckily the bar is nearby so we parked there until the queue died down! Breakfast was varied and provides a good start before heading to the airport

I would like to have checked in sooner to freshen up, and get rid of luggage.

Decor really fun and quirky. Great location for main shopping area and Northern Quarter.

Didn’t eat breakfast at hotel - previously this was free as part of booking with Ibis Styles and always an additional attraction but now it is a separate charge, which was a bit disappointing. Only one extra pillow in our double room - could have done with an extra one each!

They don't do breakfasts - we went out to Weatherspoons nearby instead

The bedding was clean and checking in and out was easy

Didn't look anything like the pictures, the fridge wasn't working, someone else's clothes behind the sofa, no parking in the street so had to park a mile away for £10 a day, it was noisey with people doing Nox outside, it smelled horrible, the spring matrass was old and definitely needs to be replaced and there was no basket with soap or breakfast items, just two near empty bottles of shampoo and soap in the bathroom

good rooms and decent breakfast

I have asked multiple times to get a VAT receipt for my stay. The hotel keeps telling me that only booking can get me a receipt. I've never received an invoice from booking, always from the hotel. Terrible customer service. Decent hotel and staff were friendly in person.
