A quintessential Northumberland farmhouse home B N B, in stunning countryside. The room was huge, yet comfortable with classical furniture and a beautiful period feel, with all the modern touches. Breakfast was the best I have experienced anywhere. It actually surpassed what we were offered when staying in London at Horse Guards, in terms of the variety on the cooked breakfast menu and on the self serve buffet, and in terms of how delicious and beautifully prepared it was. The breakfast / dining room is like a home set in an Agatha Christie book. The host and overall welcome is warm and friendly.

The house was a beautiful house with a lovely layout and comfortable beds. The decor was stunning and there were lots of things provided that we didn’t expect - things like tea, coffee, sugar etc.

The downstairs bathroom of the en suite seemed like a drain could have been blocked as the water didn’t drain as it should making the floor very wet.

Lovely clean place, huge well appointed kitchen and large bathroom. Helpful interaction with owners. Lovely remote location with wonderful birdsong in the mornings

Bed wasn't so comfortable but that may be personal taste, would be good to have a hand rail on stairs but again that's personal to me as I have two artificial knees and was a bit concerned about falling which I didn't buy was be nervous of the stairs esp during the night to get to the toilet.
