Positive section of review
The location was excellent; very close to both Inverness coach and train stations and the city centre in general. It was easy to find. The photos sent from the owner certainly helped with that. The self-contained unit has its own yard. Hence one felt safe and secure. A good sized towel was provided.

The sink in the bathroom had a slight leak. I couldn't get either the television or heater to work. (Inverness can be cold at nights, even in June!) and the heater isn't wired properly. Although the property had a kettle, a few sachets of tea, coffee and UHT milk would have been a nice touch.

Location ideal, set in the middle of the country side & seaside within easy reach. However if needed not too far to a local shopping centre.(either cinema !). Bed & sofa bed were very comfortable & the pint of milk/teabags etc were very welcoming.

We knew about the jack & jill bathroom, which was very handy as our 15 year old didn’t have to traipse through the main bedroom, however maybe a lock or 2 would have been handy!

Did not have breakfast but facilities, hotel and location wise fantastic. We were all impressed how clean the hotel was. Would definitely be staying again and will recommend to friends and family.

A good location for transport links and handy to visit nearby family. Shops and restaurants close by. Park nearby. Kathleen House responded quickly to my email regarding problems. See below.

The beds creaked whenever we moved and we could feel all the mattress springs. Bathrooms are shared with other guests. I needed to contact Kathleen House about the slamming of doors , and the smell of "weed" from somewhere on our landing ,and the front door was left on the latch instead of being closed by guests. All credit to Kathleen House as they contacted all the guests and the door slamming was greatly reduced. They stated that there are plans to do work to avoid the door slamming. Although relatively clean, the shower cubical looked as though the corners get missed (black mould), could do with a steam clean. More water in the fridge would be appreciated as it needs to be used for beverages.

Location perfect, the Host was instructed about how to reach and get into the room very well. Wifi service was also ok.
