We stayed in a one bedroom cottage and use of a lovely hot tub. The scenery is beautiful. It's a 10 min drive to the local lovely town with lots of shops, food places and pubs. The host was helpful and we had everything we needed.

The central location of the hotel was very convenient and it is an impressive historic building. On site car parking was useful.

The common areas are fine, but some specific parts of the hotel as visible from the bedroom window were in need of repair and redecoration chiefly the central area.

Coming into the holiday park was tricky and at first we took the wrong turning... there was dark hairs on our pillows and a stain on main bedroom sheet the lights were overly bright could of done with a lamp or dimmer switch..we paid for a superior van and felt it was basic

Small things would make this better. Functional rather than welcoming. Rather soulless in decor. Too many do/don’t notices. A small bottle of milk in the fridge rather than four little tubs of long life would be good. Nothing in a folder for local services/places to eat etc. All made easy for the management company rather than welcoming for the guests.

Another customer entered my room in the evening having been given the wrong room number. I couldn't get a WIFI signal in my room and didn't get exactly what I ordered at breakfast despite writing it down the night before.

If you want to stay in a hotel based in the 70s this is the one also if you like people knocking on doors through the night definitely this is for you if you like your van getting broke in to also pick this place it looked more like the hunted inside the rooms I smoke and it stunk of it and also green if you know what that is never again I’d rather sleep in the van
