An excellent Guest House within easy walking distance to the centre of town. The room was very comfortable and tidy and the owner was extremely helpful and pleasant. I enjoyed my short stay and I highly recommend this venue.

Reasonably priced . Location - was on bus route and easy to get to. The room was a nice size. The shower was OK.

Communication - I had no reply to my message through booking.com or my text message about check-in / key collection arrangements. I had to call ( which could be a problem for overseas visitors with no mobile connection, I just prefer text messages anyway as I have a record of the conversation ) . I had no reply to a text I sent about the lack of hair dryer or where the WiFi details were. I've had no response to my text saying I was checking out a day early and I'd left the keys in the room ( I couldn't fit them in the key safe because there were so many other keys in there, spent 10 minutes trying) . The description is inaccurate in parts - firstly , I'd change the title from " luxurious " to "budget" , which would be a fair description. Although it has a kitchen , it has very little crockery , no cups or mugs, no frying pan or utensils (no can opener etc) 1 small saucepan , a kettle and a toaster. It needs mugs or cups at least to make a cup of tea. The "dining room" was interesting - basically a small table and there was maybe a chair , but hard to tell as it was all draped in sheets and towels which were drying , also the radiator was draped in a sheet. This room led on to the kitchen, so the sheets etc smell of cooking. We were in room 6 , the top room , which was a nice room in the roof . The beds were very budget, slightly soft mattresses but ok . Could do with mattress protectors on . The bedding however was not OK. My bed bottom sheet looked like it hadn't been changed , the pillow was very budget ( thin ) and the pillow cases smelled sweaty - maybe from the smells from the kitchen .

The gym and pool were good. Very helpful to be allowed access before check in.

The rooms were very noisy with lots of slamming doors all night and bright lights shining through the curtains. The room would be crowded with more than one person.
