My second stay at the hotel. Lovely staff, great location and despite the fact that the room with the balcony and amazing view was occupied this time, I had a great short stay again. I don't usually eat in the mornings, so didn't book breakfast but asked for coffee and was ready to pay for it, was told to get one on the house to enjoy my morning and I really did. Not the matter of the money that coffee would cost but the attitude, feeling to be welcome. Thank you very much for this very pleasant experience.

This property was amazing- fantastic location, particularly if wanting to explore the northern part of the island and local beaches. It was well equipped, family friendly, tidy, comfortable and access on the first day was easy. I want to thank the hosts for such a lovely accommodation option for our stay on Lewis.

Breakfast was amazing three different size full English breakfasts available, small one was plenty for me, the big breakfast was incredible, if your a big eater then good luck. room was a little tired but well equipped with a comfy bed.

Disgusting, pure and simple. There was nothing to like. Once we saw the disgusting bed, there was nothing else that could change our minds. Even when giving us a second room, it was on an even keel with the first one

Now, I'm never usually one for complaining or making a fuss, especially when I know full well just how hard things are in the hospitality sector at the minute, but when you pay £288 for a room......in Blackpool........ the least you would expect is a little bit of basic cleanliness....... especially when you can get a B&B room for £45 which is far cleaner!! Claims to be a "4 Star with 180 bedrooms" on their Facebook page, and a "stunning Victorian Blackpool hotel"........ well, I think if you judge the bed against the word Victorian, then that was maybe when the bed was actually put in the room and hasn't been changed since! They tried to tell us that the stain was tanning lotion……… no, the stains on the side are blood stains and the dirt on the top is simply just disgusting dirt. I just wish now we had taken more pictures like the pillows etc. To say the room was a midden would actually be a bonus point in a Channel 4 Four in a Bed scenario!....oh and what a great asset the "Brake Glass" fire sign is..... no emergency break glass to be seen...... told us they were upgrading the fire system……… pull the other one! Ok Blackpool is Blackpool, but come on...... basic hygiene is simple and dare I say it, expected Have to admit though, praise where it is due, the guy on the reception at the Imperial was really nice and said "thank you for your honesty"............. poor guy, and I felt sorry for him, whilst his colleague left him to sink. The fact they refused to refund the reservation even when we didn’t even dare to sit on the bed, makes it even worse, hence why I am writing this review. Had they refunded us, then nothing more would have been said .

The room was boiling. It wasn’t hot outside but my room was 27.5 degrees. I turned the aircon on which is too loud plus will only reduce it by 3 degrees. Still too hot. The fan is noisey, so I have to open the windows so I can hear the traffic. I had two terrible night sleeps. Which ruined me as I was doing 14 hour days at work. Just Awful
