The host's were very welcoming and could not do enough for us. We had a lovely Indian Meal cooked by our host which was all fresh,hot and tasted good. The village of Cassington is lovely and a good base to stay for Oxforxd City and other places of Intrest.

We stayed in the Twin Room which was nice but a few thing could be updated lighting was not great only one lamp for whole of the room and shower needs updating. Breakfast was fine but could do with using local produce, found sausage and bacon poor and bread for toast not great. Maybe a breakfast menu would add a nice touch too.

The hosts have thought of everything one would need. Short country lane walk to Castle Comb village. Charming large cottage for a couple. Booked for Lotus Club Castle Comb track day. Only yust enough ground clearance down lane to The Old Library .

The guest house is in a perfect location for visiting local sites and is close to the nearby park and beach. The owners were very friendly and accommodating offering a very delicious cooked breakfast in the morning cooked to order!

The house was lovely from the outside. The inside was very nice, very large. We had a family room, beautiful big large double bed and two big single beds. The view was very nice, you could see the marina and the ferris wheel .

The house was old and needs a bit of a face lift. The creaking floors from the bedroom above, very noisy when people walk across the floor especially at night.

Great location before heading out to the hills for a weekend's walking. A lot of care has obviously been put into the property from all the touches and it made for a very enjoyable and restful evening.

The inclusive breakfast was hot and well cooked. The receptionist Ellie/Ella was helpful.

We were put in the wrong room and then were woken at 1am whilst in deep sleep with other guests using a key entering our room - so we no longer felt safe. We were moved to a different room, which unfortunately was next to the kitchen, so was awoken early when breakfast prep started which then led to the room smelling like fried food. There was also a couple arguing late at night in the corridor- whilst the hotel can't control the actions of others we were surprised no one went to check all was okay. Two nights no sleep - we left early as we didn't feel relaxed, comfortable, or safe to stay another, so cut our holiday short. Asked for a refund on the one night but told couldn't do and offered free night stay instead but why would we return to a place we left early? Something to note if you are staying here there is limited seating to have breakfast, which will lead you to have to wait for 10/15 mins. Also the lights above the bed were both not working.
