Some of the doors between rooms slam quickly behind you as you walk through them, unless you are quick and ready to catch them and slow them down-they are quite solid. Despite having managed it many times, I was still caught offguard on several occasions and it became frustrating moving between rooms, esp bedrooms, through the hall to the lounge area. I don't know if the sound transfers to other flats/floors, but the noise and potential injury within the flat is there. Secondly, the kitchen is lovely, appliances new and clean, and it was great to have continental breakfast items available. To make the kitchen even more amazing, particularly for longer stays, there needs to be a few more appropriate utensils and cooking containers/pots. For example, you've provided a solid non-stick fry pan and saucepans, and paired them with metal egg slide and utensils-I didn't want to damage the pans and scratch them. Maybe/plastic options would make sense. A second tea towel would be amazing too. Thanks. Despite this, I'd still happily return.

No general info book regarding policies/procedures, e.g, disposal of rubbish, tv, fire drill/escapes, maintenance issues.. We contacted admin and were advised that they would get back to us regarding rubbish, but they never did (we had to get friends to take rubbish bags to dispose of. Might not seem like a big deal but when you’re staying for 7 nights it is. The property needs a good clean, while on the surface it looks acceptable, there were signs of previous stays - fingerprints on windows, the cutlery and glasses had food particles on them, surfaces not wiped down well. We put all the cutlery and crockery through the dishwasher before we used it. There was no broom to sweep the floors and only one tea towel for 7 days. All of the above took away from our stay a little bit and for the price we paid isn’t really acceptable.

I was above the bar so the noise was LOUD through the floor and from the patrons sitting outside - immediately below my window. It did stop before 12 so the night wasn't a complete loss. I had an early train so was not pleased with the location of the room.
