    - “My spouse and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary with a week-long stay at Bilblos Resort Alacati booked through booking.com, and it was truly a remarkable experience. Staff Hospitality and Attention to Detail: We were taken care of by Anastasia and Anzhelika, with Anastasia going above and beyond to provide us with a hotel tour and exceptional service throughout our stay. They were incredibly attentive to our needs, even offering to call a nurse when I got a minor injury at the beach and personally delivering the necessary supplies to our room. Despite our complex transportation request during check-out, they remained kind and supportive until the very end, making our journey truly memorable. Hotel Facilities: The rooms were immaculate and comfortable, with amenities that exceeded our expectations. The Nespresso coffee was a delightful touch. The multiple outdoor and indoor pools, including the heated water pool, allowed us to enjoy swimming to the fullest. The well-maintained spa facilities, various sauna options, fully-equipped gym, and the game room with a PlayStation were all top-notch and added to our satisfaction. Dining Experience: With three restaurants and a shop selling ice cream and waffles, the dining options were diverse and delicious, creating a fantastic ambiance. Khalia Restaurant, where we had breakfast daily, offered a variety of exquisite dishes, beverages, and cheeses. Our experience at Miso, the seafood restaurant with a live band performance, was exceptional. Nori, the Asian food restaurant, impressed us with its special roll dishes that even food enthusiasts would appreciate. The friendly service from the staff complemented the dining experience perfectly. Private Beach: The private beach connected to the hotel provided a tranquil”

When your buyer pulls out a few days before exchange you want a bit of cheering up, decided last minute to go away and booked Tor Farm. Not stayed before but it was perfect and ticked every box. We generally only leave a review if it's for somewhere good we have stayed, but there is something about Tor Farm; the quality of the lodge, the professionalism, the welcome and the area itself that exceeds every expectation of self catering and I would honestly rate it 20/20 if the system allowed and we have not thought that way about anywhere else we have stayed on a self catering basis.

  • 2 Bedroom Lavish Apartment Prince Street Bridlington Sleeps 5 Netflix HARBOUR LOCATION

    Bridlington, United Kingdom

    Average review score: 8.8
    • Positive section of review

The location is good, close to all of the attractions in Bridlington as it is right in the centre. The apartment shows promise but is very unfinished. Everything was clean apart from the windowsills. Towels included, we however were one short so my children had to share. Linen included. Keys were easy to get so check in was smooth.

Loads is unfinished, don't be fooled by the photos! The entrance is smelly and there was a very untidy/dirty room next door which we presume they are turning into an apartment as well although it’s very unsightly and the door being shut would have been better! The entrance didn't feel particularly safe. Loads of steps and a tight squeeze up to the apartment. Carpet fitted incorrectly on the stairs which my little boy tripped on, also nails on show and sticking up from the poor fitting (no reply from host when this was reported). The toilet seat is broken and does not for the toilet properly. Loads of random little holes in the walls and splashes up the walls and doors. There was no soap or washing up liquid so we could not wash the pots properly. Also no coffee or tea etc. Basically you have to take everything! The TV catch up worked but we couldn't get live TV. The bar stools are very light and tipped over easily, again my youngest fell off one of these as it tipped straight over when he sat on it. The beds are very hard and i struggled to sleep. The blind in the second bedroom kept falling down too. It wasnt worth the £176 we paid for one night and we did leave feeling disappointed as id paid for it as a luxury treat rather than a cheap b&b, it absolutely isn't ‘lavish’ as the description describes. Hopefully the owners will finish it off to a standard it should be at. Also to note that the on street parking is limited to 1 hour between the hours of 9am-7pm. We had a right mare trying to find somewhere to park when we first arrived and had to move the car several times until 7pm came.

Perfect location with a very short walk to the centre. The house was situated in a quiet area and had an outside area, which was an added bonus. It was very clean. The information booklet was full of helpful information.

The room had a desk which made it good for me as I am teaching online and I don;t like holding the laptop on my lap for long periods. Comfy bed. Clean kitchen. Central location. Bit noisy, but I had no trouble sleeping.

The room was small, but I coped. That was really the only thing - partly my fault. I shouldn't bring so much stuff!

There is no on-site parking, but parking is available within walking distance. The flush mechanism on the toilet was somewhat hit-and-miss.

I didn’t like the sausages at breakfast - they didn’t seem like great quality. The rooms are a little dated but for me that added to the charm so wasn’t an issue.
