When we drove up the winding, beautiful drive to the stunning entrance, we actually thought we had booked the wrong hotel. Surely, they don’t allow dogs to stay in such a beautiful and luxurious hotel! However, we were quickly reassured by the young gentleman who checked us in. I didn’t catch his name, but he couldn’t have made us and our dog feel more welcome. Every single member of your team was friendly, helpful, and genuinely happy. It was noticeable how much effort you have put into training your staff, and it showed in every area we ventured to. The grounds and the history of the hotel are also incredible. Thank you for an unforgettable experience at The Elvetham. We look forward to returning to this stunning manor hotel.

Great location with some really good pubs on the doorstep., Old industrial building conversion which was great. Excellent communication from the owner. Good alternative to a hotel at a similar rate, offering home comforts. With two kids studying in Sheffield I'd certainly consider staying again.

Excellent value for money and great location being 3 minutes from National Express Coach stop and seafront. Bathroom ensuite was new with plenty of towels and loo roll ! Bed linen clean and cosy.

Clean and spacious. Great location for exploring Edinburgh. Even though it is centrally located,we found it very quiet. It is opposite a park for great views.

The carpet on the main staircase was absolutely filthy and smelly. I mentioned this and was told that they were in receipt of quotes to clean it. However it appeared to have been dirty and stained for a long time. It was very off putting on arrival. The grounds need maintaining to a better standard.
