What might not look like much, when you walk into the bar to check-In, turned out as the perfect rind! Very clean and good sized room, good bed and nice bathroom. Very down to earth and nice host. We did the dinner&breakfast deal which was absolutley worth it. I had the vegetable tart for dinner and French Toast with fruit for breakfast and both were delightful. There is a busstop and a trainstation and a supermarket just around the corner (we are travelling by hiking and public Transportation)

Took us a while to figure out the wifi and the bar downstairs could use a little touch-up....its right at the mainroad but it was quiet during the Night.

Clean, specious enough room with good facilities. Pleased to get a voucher for the pub next door. Amenities nearby very good, with supermarket next door and lots of cafes., bars and restaurants.

Lovely Hotel with a Restaurant. We ate breakfast which was superb. The Rooms were spotless and roomy. Would definately recommend.

The Parking is tricky. Out of Season you can park on the sea Front road free. There is a car park opposite the Hotel which charges £14 overnight (24 Hours) April 2024. We rarely needed to pay for parking as there is parking available early or after 5pm so you dont have to pay for overnight parking.

We booked 2 rooms. Our friend who was going to join us phoned the day before she had Covid . She was happy to still come. There was no refund as it was outside the cancellation period. She was happy to stay in her room and not mix. This we understood but was told under the circumstances she could not come. A refund was not allowed despite it was the hotel who refused her visiting . I agree she should not have come and the hotel did right in not allowing her. But as it was that way round a refund should have been forthcoming. Our large suite was great other than the noise from above that was very bad. The bar was very quiet other than 3 men sat at the bar. Very limited wine choice. The food of poor quality. The bread and butter was just a white slice from a loaf with butter. We had to get away early in the morning so could not get breakfast that we had paid for !!!! Because we were away early we had to park in the street as the car park is small and only one way in/out. We could have been boxed in whilst others slept So very poor value .
