Great location! It was so handy as it was next to the Aldgate tube station, and it was walking distance to the Spitalfields Market and Bricklane. I booked this hotel as it was close to the Barbican by tube. The room was amazing (everything was perfect). I went to the 14th floor and the staff at the bar was really kind to me, seeing that I was a solo traveller and I was well taken care of. Plus, the view was awesome at dusk. Overall, they had a great team of staff, from reception to bar.

Wonderful property and welcoming host. We had a very enjoyable stay filled with complete privacy. You feel at home in a large house and two comfortable bathrooms. Thank you to the host. They were very generous with us, milk, eggs, coffee, tea, biscuits, and a lot of salt and spices. I mean, if you come tired or late, don’t worry, you will find the basic equipment. Of course I recommend the property to everyone and on our next visits we will return

Amazing clean cosy cottage, perfect place to have a relaxing break. Instructions easy to follow for the heating, wifi etc. Close to a pebbled beach for an evening stroll after hiking at all the places nearby! Would recommend bringing some food for meals, snacks etc as there are limited grocery stores nearby (we always pack food on holiday so it doesn’t affect us)

The owners were super friendly and the place was stunning! From the friendly peacocks to the games room and the amazing hot tub. The recommendations of places to eat/see that the owners made were invaluable.

The single beds are quite narrow. Also the accommodation is “upside down” so sleeping downstairs can be noisy if people are awake upstairs as the walls are very thin. We took our dogs but unfortunately there wasn’t a way of letting them outside without being on the lead until the owners provided us with a crate to block off the outside space.

The fact that I asked for a room close to the lift as the gentleman I was escorting has mobility issues. When we turned up we were told the lift was broken. There was no compensation offered
