Good location not far from the city centre, probably too far to walk with kids, but a quick drive. I was a bit worried about noise as we were beside the hospital, but it was very peaceful. There was a nice big garage where I left my bike, and the garden was fun for my daughter to play in. The house was spotless, and had everything you would need including plenty of towels, shower gel and a much appreciated welcome basket full of goodies. Eggs, bacon and milk in the fridge. Ideal!

Brilliant friendly attentive hosts! Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was beautiful with a good sized bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful with cereal, fruits, yogurt, marmalade etc homemade bread and lemon curd! Hot breakfast options were cooked to order and were perfect. Thanks for having us! Would definitely recommend.

Evening : meals were good quality and hearty with a good menu selection and a good range of beers and wine al at reasonable prices. Breakfast was excellent we had the Cumbrian breakfast which was of very good quality and was cooked to order .

The maintenance of the property could be improved eg our bedroom window ironmongery was falling off and the window required other repairs and redecoration however as the window was only single gazed perhaps now is the time they should be replaced with double glazed windows.

Everything. Bathroom smells, tops not cleaned, wall paintings unfinished, missing white goods… dirty microwave, plumbing works unfinished in the kitchen tap, I have pictures to prove all of these.
