The receptionist was lovely. My partner has problem with stairs and she changed the to a more convenient room, she even took our clothes and case to the room while we had a drink.

Though only metre’s from the M62 the room was surprisingly quiet thanks to the triple glazing. Well furnished and decorated both the bathroom and bedroom were spotlessly clean.

The room has electric heating which was operating on arrival. This was turned off as it was far too warm for me, however even after leaving the window open when we went out for a meal the room was still too hot . Thankfully there was a fan provided so we were able to sleep, the bed was very comfortable.

it was hot , due to the weather but all so heating being on , so was a little uncomfortable to sleep at night had to open windows so then got bitten by mosquitoes.

Dirty, uncleaned, lock box in filthy location, pictures to prove. Linen appalling, hairs in sink, dead flies on bed linen.Tried contacting the property, no response. Key was already damaged. Security deposit was requested on eve of arrival, which I knew nothing about, or booking void. Security deposit not returned, despite the fact we were only in the property for about 45 minutes. My wife and daughter would not stay there, so had to make another reservation elsewhere. Owner has told Booking.com we damaged the property!! Shocking.

Mould smell on ensuite bathroom. Parts of the floor were so squeaky we thought wood would break under our feet. Car park cannot be reserved in advance for the dates spent at the hotel. After driving 4 hours to get to Harrogate one expects to find a place to park…..

Rude reception staff, self service check in check out and breakfast. No one to help on reception when needed. No interaction with staff. The earth wire was also hanging off the radiator. Place wants top money but for minimal effort.
