Positive section of review
Loved the location as it was walking distance to the town and beaches. Loved that there was free parking on site. Lovely to have milk, tea, coffee and sugar on arrival. The bed was fairly comfortable. The host was friendly, helpful and contactable instantly he resolved any questions/query we had. He even reserved a table for us at a local restaurant. The room was cosy and the heating worked well.

Very, very small, it was okay for 1 or 2 nights but not longer as there's nowhere to store luggage. Milk is great on arrival but I would suggest semi skimmed milk is provided as not many drink whole milk. The wifi was very hit and miss it kept dropping out all the time. Netflix also wouldn't work on the TV. We didn't highlight these issues as it wasn't important for the 2 days we were staying but it may be to others. No where to sit other than the bed. There are 2 bar stools at a breakfast bar but not comfortable chairs as there's no room.

The shower was very nice. Hot water, good stream. The he bathroom seemed nice and clean. I had to wake the lady up to open the door, as the knob did not work in the morning- she was nice about that. Generally the landlady was pleasant and chatty.

It was like staying at a friend, who is not your friend and didn’t clean before you arrived. If I wouldn’t have had a terrible fever, I would have left again. I asked for water and the lady told me to use tap water, it would be fine in the uk. Then she left me to meet a friend. So I had to walk into town to get water, but the dog needed a walk anyway. I left my clothes on (although the bed-sheets seemed washed and clean) and used my own pillow. I found a mouldy marmalade-container beside the bed, obliviously months old. Dust and cobwebs everywhere. Many plants in the room, which made it feel stuffy. A weird experience overall.

Manda and Tony were lovely. The house was clean and Tidy. The host was at the house when I arrived which is soo much nicer than Key entry. A personal touch.
