This is a very good choice as it's right next to Aldgate tube whilst Aldgate East and Fenchurch Street stations are just 5min walk away which is super convenient. For 10min walk you will get to London Liverpool Street station which is also very good. The hotel is located not far from many restaurants in the direction of London Liverpool Street station so all good. Don't forget to checkout the bar on the 14th floor with a great view of the city's old CBD quarter which is vibrant when it comes to night time. I didn't check it out for sunset but I guess it'd be very nice too! Pretty much every room got a view so this is another thing I like about this hotel. The janitor lady was very nice as she tidied up my room everyday without me asking for it (I know some other hotels they just do it upon request). I will definitely book this one again next time I'm in the city.

The only thing I feel there could be an improvement is the breakfast menu as I had the same dish for 3 days in a row as I didn't know what else to choose! To be fair there are like 9-10 items on the menu but they all didn't sound very tasty when I read it. I went for the avocado toast but would love to go for something else when they have more choices.

Location was perfect and it felt very safe. It was great being able to do washing an dry it. Nice big kitchen with everything you need. Despite some niggly issues, it was a nice place to stay.

We were unaware that it was a communal kitchen. We were also unaware that our bags had to be man handled up and down steep stairs. My husband had been injured and this was almost impossible. Our room was in the basement and the entry to it was through 2 large plate glass doors and to lock and unlock them, we had to get down on the floor where the locks were situated. Not ideal normally, but extremely difficult when someone has a mobility, or physical issue. Guests should be aware of his. The bed needs replacing as it has a bug hump in the centre and I felt like I was rolling out.

Location was great, Lidl’s opposite the property so noisy at night with deliveries. But great location for visiting the surrounding area.

Feedback: My wife and I stayed at the Radstone Hotel in Larkhall from the 18th thru till the 19th of May. We wanted a quick getaway because my wife had completed her professional examinations and were looking for a pleasant break. I have to say we were deeply disappointed with our stay. The fan was not working in the room (which was fine because we just opened the window) but then later at night the wifi did not work. We had some post examination work to do and had to tether to our phones and with it being Larkhall the network wasn't great taking it all the more longer to finish up and needing to order something late at night. This resulted in us sleeping late and missing our breakfast. When we informed feedback at the front desk upon our exit, I was absolutely shocked at the attitude. When I mentioned the wifi, I was told, "you reported this at 11pm". As if because we reported it so late we were making excuses , what does it matter when the wifi went down or when we used it my understanding was it was afforded to us as a part of our stay. I also then notified her of the fan and that we weren't able to have breakfast and said if there was anything she can do, from her response and statement it appeared she assumed we were looking for a deduction off the room and just said sorry can't help you the bill is £17.00p (for the room order). So basically it didn't matter that the fan or wifi wasn't working, you owe us £17.00p. We were made to feel like opportunists. No attempt was made to make it right. You really need to train your staff to practice a little more discretion.
