The room is clean and the bathroom has very nice toiletries ,complementary tea and coffee is also a bonus ,the bed is very comfortable . The evening meal was excellent .Staff are pleasant and very helpful although they seem under pressure as there doesn't seem as many staff as in the past . The grounds are very well kept.

The blinds needed replacing in the bedroom there was a lot of black marks on them that looked like mould. The breakfast menu offers fruit pots these are no longer available. .We have stayed here several times in the past and the breakfast seemed generally poorer quality .This seems to be due to the hotel being taken over .

We travelled for a flight and the hotel was nice, very clean and had a large snack and drink area where you could order food. Ideal after you have driven for hours to get there. The room and on-suit where very clean for a night of sleep.

Its is a budget hotel for a reason, the rooms are very very small, one side of the double bed against the wall and barely enough room for suitcases but we were using it as a stop over for an very earlier flight so did the job. The beds were hard. This hotel is not ideal for Terminal 1, there is no direct road if you are driving and we had get back on the motorway and very nearly late for our flight. The direction reception gave us were very poor.

Location is beautiful, so peaceful and we wanted for nothing. Hottub and outdoor fire was much enjoyed. Breakfast was a 'takeaway' deliverd to the room... loaded with really good stuff.

Arranged a check in between 5 and 6... arrived at 6.05 as the receptionist was leaving for the day and seemed surprised... which was unexpected as the options to check in went up to 2100.

Bathroom door didn't close,, window didn't close completely, leaving a 1cm gap. Outside window pane cracked. The noise from the pub below and the pub opposite was incredibly loud all the way til 3am. (And then bins were emptied from 6am) Only a mixer tap (holes for a shower attachment in the wall but no attachment); cold and hot taps were swapped and a trickle if cold water came out of the bath tap. TV bracket with no tv. And general decor throughout probably not updated since at least the 80s (no exaggeration!)
