The location was beautiful and the views were amazing even on a rainy day, on a nice day it’s the perfect place to watch the sunset soaking in the hot tub. Catherine the host was incredible and so helpful and made sure the hot tub was up and running for us because we are clueless when it comes to wood burning stoves! The lodge was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our short stay. Can’t wait to return for another stay!

This is my second time staying at Room2 and will definitely not be my last. The staff are fantastic and go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and anticipate every need. Nathan in particular is so friendly and helpful. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more. It really is a home away from home.

Best hotel I've ever stayed in - warm welcome, excellent food, brilliant view from the dining room, very comfortable bedroom with television that included iPlayer, YouTube.

The staff were really pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was very good apart from the coffee. The bar area was comfortably furnished and equipped too.

The bedroom was very poor, although it was clean. The decor was tatty, the room was cold, the view from the window was of lots of rubbish bins, the television didn't work (even the replacement TV only worked for 30 minutes before giving up completely. There were no sockets near the bed so I couldn't use my cpap machine. All in all very disappointed with the room.

The property was nice and clean, very tidy. It has good sized rooms with a good amount of cupboard space for extended stays.

Parking is on-street with permits to put in cars - these appear to be out of date however. No soap or toilet roll, luckily there was a convenience store just down the road. Rather thin walls, it's a mid terrace so could hear the neighbours.

Location next to the train station is great for one night. Beds very comfortable, staff very friendly.

Absolutely no soundproofing between walls. Construction taking place behind the hotel and inevitably is a bit of an eyesore. Unfortunately when we booked the room we weren’t made aware of the building work happening.

We had a noisy air conditioning unit outside of our room, we may have been above the kitchen as it was on all times of the day and night. Was quite a subtle noise but still slightly irritating when trying to sleep.
