Breakfast - good selection, bacon and kippers particularly good although the kippers appeared to have run out after a couple of days. Hotel was nice and warm throughout. Staff very friendly and generally helpful. Great view of the ferries coming and going from our room. Plenty of parking for our hire car.

Plumbing in our bathroom was temperamental - no hot water at all one day which was fixed next day, but still gave the odd problem afterwards, Just a rogue shower I think, daughters room next door had no problem. Very nice cocktail bar wasn't in use, just the little bit of bar in the dining room which was more like a takeaways waiting area than a proper bar. There is a vegetarian menu available if you ask for it, why isn't this on display with the main menu? we might have had more dinners in if we'd known it was there.

Ambience of the hotel was good The location is near the University of Strathclyde and George Square. Staff are very cooperative and helpful. Rooms and towels are cleaned every day. Room has all basic amenities. There is a gym, a cafe, and a small restaurant for everyone.

Huge room, fabulous bathroom, fantastic views - exceptional massage treatment. The ballroom and bar are great - the lobby is eccentric with full on 80s Music video vibe (plus Joey from Friends dog sculpture!)

The decor and the carpet in the room was a bit tired - especially the sofa. Price of the drinks at the hotel bar was a bit on the steep side.

Super easy as Angie met us with the keys- easy to contact and quick to respond. In the apartment she had left us milk and tea, coffee and sugar. 😀 Superb location all very easy and accessible !

I am a wheelchair user and noticed that the bin in the bathroom was pedal operated. I’ve never seen a hotel get this right! Changing this across your chain would be a great way to show your wheelchair-using guests that you have thought about every aspect of their stay. Thank you.
