The location is perfect, looking out to the sea. We stayed in a private double room but had to go downstairs to a shared bathroom. We paid extra for a continental breakfast which we helped ourselves to. Overall, I think it was expensive for what we got, it is a hostel but we did enjoy our stay and met some lovely people.

Made to feel very welcome on arrival. Nothing too much trouble for the owners. Lovely property with a large enclosed garden which our dog thoroughly enjoyed. Dog walks almost on the doorstep.

the shower was hot, I'm afraid that's all there is, I know its brief but im afraid thats all there is about this room.

Ive stayed here plenty of times over the last 2 years but either the man working here has changed or its changed ownership. however I was greeted or not by the recptionist who was more interested in charging me £15 per night to park than anything else. Also wouldn't give me my key until he had read me their terms and conditions regarding the room like a 10 year old at school, even though I told him i'd been here at leat 50 times in 2 years. Needless to say they stuck me in room 13, no windows but a skylight with no curtain or blind so as soon as it gets light at 5:30 you wake up plus theres a window from the neighbouring property able to look in at you sleeping or worse if your'e a couple. Added to the fact theres no airing this room so it smelt damp, as did the bedding of worse (simply wasn't clean) the wall paper was peeling from the walls in multiple places this is a hole. I wont be staying again, which is a shame as i've said its been ok over the past few years. Hope they read this as this isn't how to run anyplace. Scott

Slippery floor after shower (High risk hazard) cannot walk to toilet with out slipping and no railings to hold on to, or rubber mats for grip on the floor. Bright little green light in the room all night.. very disturbing.

Booking.com specified this property was suitable for families. It was not! I was aware it was over a pub, however, as I specifically noted that I had a toddler, booking.com should have brought up only suitable properties. This property was brought up as number 1 for families! The room was not suitable for a child. No cot or safety rails availavle. The property was very loud, bathroom door wouldn't close so kept banging, room was warm to begin but the fan was covered in dust. Room cold during the night but no heating.
