The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

Hillcrest Cottage was outstanding. I could just move in tomorrow! The quality of the decor and furnishings was first class. It was a real home from home. We felt very comfortable and the hosts had thought of everything we could possibly need to enjoy our stay. The views from the house and garden were stunning. The weather was fabulous so we spent most of our time in the garden eating and drinking and enjoying the view. We enjoyed delicious food from the local fish and chip shop and the Chinese takeaway - excellent prices too! We stayed here as part of a golfing trip and there was a great selection of superb golf courses a short drive away. Euan, our host was very helpful before and during our stay. Highly recommend this cottage and Cullen. We would love to go back for another trip and would stay longer the next time as it's so peaceful and relaxing. And of course we will choose Hillcrest for future bookings.

It was a perfect holiday experience - I can't think of anything to improve! Well done to all involved in making our stay so welcoming.

The location was very convenient• outside the tube station, a minute`s walk from supermarkets. The staff was helpful. We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel, for free, after our checkout until the time of our flight.

The supposedly double bed was very small for 2 people. Breakfast was below minimum.

Lovely breakfast. I also had a nice dinner in the bar area. Bed lovely and comfortable. Good pressure and nice hot shower. Fridge with bottle water was good, and nice toiletries in the bathroom.

Staff could have been more attentive in the bar in the evening. I arrived quite late, and the reception desk wasn't manned so had to try to get someone's attention. Parking was expensive.

The rooftop pool for that lazy lounging, the food in hotel restaurant & our lovely skyline view room with plenty of sunlight, skyline views & facilities

Just a minor detail - The lifts can be a little testing at times. It just requires a little patience otherwise a stunning property. 😉

Really great, centrally located room for a solo work trip. Staff were super helpful, and I had everything I needed.

Nothing. I think the room might be a squeeze for more than one person, but no such issues for me.

I liked the stylish bar and the food in the evening was excellent. The room was quiet which was good.

I felt the bedroom and particularly the bathroom were cramped. We will opt for a better sized room next time as the Fleece has a lot to offer guests generally.

6 pm check in was unexpected. We arrived at 3 and were asked to go and come back at 6pm ( our fault - we hadn’t noticed check in time in the info so be aware)
