An absolutely amazing property in an outstanding location. Breathtaking views, and only a short walk to the beach, local pub and 2 lovely cafes. We could not have asked for more, a fabulous holiday location and a beautiful house.

The rooftop bar whilst expensive is lovely and although a reduced menu, food was available and good. Service was very good and friendly. Location to terminal 3 was also very handy.

The Bar whilst good is expensive. Our room whilst well appointed and large only had very cheap sachet of coffee and not even a small bottle of water, considering how much the room is was a bit tight.

The surroundings are beautiful. On first arrival into the hotel and room, it’s well restored with many original features including working shutters

Good afternoon, We got back yesterday after spending the night at your hotel that we had booked through bookings.com. Upon our arrival we checked in and we was shown to our room and told where to find what in within the hotel. The hotel is obviously beautiful and as was our room. We was impressed with many original features of the room and also the quality. Upon further inspection, the room was very dusty, including the beautiful crystal chandelier in the room and in the corners or the carpet. There is a bottle lid under the bedside cabinet, left by a previous resident and also dust and dirt marks throughout the room and also the bathroom. Especially behind the bathroom door, in the corners and under the skirting board next to the shower. We had drinks and bar snacks in the bar early in the afternoon and ordered a bottle of L.P rose and it was brought to the table and was told it was from downstairs and not from the fridge, therefore leave it a few minutes in the ice and bucket, for it to cool. You sell this champagne by the glass at the bar, as we had 2 glasses prior to ordering the bottle, so why not keep a full one in the fridge? In the evening when we retired to our room, we filled out the breakfast and left it on the outside of the door when we put a tray outside as well. We’d requested 9.30 am for breakfast room service. 9.30 am came and went and I checked outside and the tray had gone but the breakfast tag had not so we rushed and got dressed to go down to the dining room after trying reception and the dining room, with no answer in the telephone. Arriving in the dining room we was showed to a dressed table and told our food and drink order would be taken soon. The dining room was filled to roughly 25% capacity and there was plenty of waiting staff on. We waited at least 10 minutes for the hot drinks order to be taken because we had eaten the toast etc., waiting. We asked the waitress to also take the breakfast order at the same time which she did.

The breakfast was amazing and very generously portioned and our host was easy to speak to before hand and helpful during our stay.

The hallway in the annex to reach our room did smell a bit of sweaty shoes but it was only that one area.

We liked the location and the free parking. The room was clean, bed was clean and shower spotless. That’s all we wanted.

It’s not the Ritz but it was very acceptable for the price. Clean room, hot water, tea and coffee and a really comfy bed. If I was to get really picky. Room 127 over looks the back garden, no problem with that. However, they have works going on, not that we saw them or heard them. There was scaffolding up and over our room and a ladder to access it. The window that over looks the scaffolding doesn’t lock. So, somewhat vulnerable. Didn’t stop us from having a good nights sleep.

Really felt welcome. Room was lovely, comfortable and clean.

Corridors were scruffy but the common areas are due to be done up as the rooms have been. The rooms are lovely.

Comfortable bed. Helpful manager. There was a bath.
Negative section of review
There was shampoo and conditioner but no soap. There were tea and coffee making facilities but no teaspoon. There was one teabag for 2 days, although the manager did give me more when I asked. The plug would not come out of the bath, although the manager did do it for me the following day.
