The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

The warmth of the welcome was wonderful from ast. Manager Karl. The property dates back 700 years so is full of character, low ceilings, uneven floors, clunky plumbing and soft beds. Everything creaks and groans. The food was exceptional and I would recommend a stay here for anyone who wants to experience a genuine Olde English coaching house, the Crown Plaza it isn’t. Thanks to Neil and Julie for a memorable stay, we will be back.

This place is just Wow!!! Above and beyond my expectations! Little luxuries everywhere, from the toiletries, fan in the room, bedding...would give it an 11 if I could! Super breakfast with lovely fruits as well as the traditional...super host. A must return place for me, best night's sleep away from home ever. Great location for Glastonbury or Wells

The lodge is beautiful and so well appointed. Ideally placed for the town and accessing the Cotswolds per se. Our hosts were warm and welcoming and we had a lovely meal in the pub. It is certainly one of the best places we have stayed at and well worth the money.

Nothing at all.

Sway is often overlooked but is in a fantastic location itself for direct access to the forest on foot or further afield by car or train. Tania was a fantastic host and has thought of many little extra details. Her welcome and lovely home enhanced our stay.

It was very clean and tidy. We were not disturbed at all, left to our own devices. Very peaceful, the room was very spacious. Quiet area

Room was pleasant but could have had a few pictures. The rear door to the pool area had no door lock so was 'OPEN'

The 1960's extension part needed good refurbishment-new double glazed windows, new corridor flooring and new external paint job. Realise this is an old long established hotel which is trying to improve.

The apartment was spacious, stylish, warm, clean and very well equipped. Very convenient as an easy walk into Harrogate.
