The cottage house has been refurbished, new and modern. The decor is cosy and comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped with sufficient cooking utensils, cutlery and dinerware.

The property was the cleanest we have ever stayed in, comfortable bed and a perfect location.

The stairs to the room we stayed in were extremely steep and the ceiling was quite low in places in our bedroom. The owner did mention this on their website site however.

The hotel has kiosk where users of the park can buy iced, chips etc, as well as entering the licensed area which is open to the public for food as well as drink. The result is that staff are often very busy, or stressed. It also, ahem, can lower the tone of the establishment. That said, parking no problem, our room was quiet, fitted with modern conveniences and a sofa. Our bed was large and comfy. Decor? It’s a matter of taste but… Breakfast ok, restaurant ok, it’s pub grub.

Seven flights of stairs and no lift. No remote control in room. No-one in tech when I arrived - a passing tradesman told me there was another reception further down the road.
