The location is amazing. It’s a sweet & roomy two bedroom apartment in the middle of Bath. I was with my 80 yr old Mom, who is in great shape, but it IS 3 flights up on stairs..so keep that in mind. We shopped at Waitrose & happily used the kitchen rather than dining out every meal. When I had any questions, Lynsey was an absolute doll & promptly was in touch. Honestly, the best place we stayed in our 2 week tour of England. Don’t miss this one!

Ambience and history of the hotel and its location. Hotel staff were excellent especially Grace who tried her utmost to resolve a problem we had with the room. Also the ability to park at the front of the hotel was a bonus in Scarborough.

Side room 108 was noisy due to bus route outside windows. Secondary glazing not that effective. Needs net curtains to prevent people seeing directly into room.

Clean, pleasant room. Lovely selection of tea, coffee etc. Also biscuits. Nice shower. Previous to check in very helpful lady from Okehampton Wetherspoons helping with regard to check in time. Also our check in lady was very pleasant.

Noise in private room next to us very loud. Lots of banging. Door slamming. Dragging across floor (like heavy boxes on hard floor). Staff unfriendly and rude in the bar the following morning. Part of breakfast barely warm. My husband was very upset by a particular comment after I had asked if someone could wipe out table please. Actually…after I first offered to do it myself if I could have a cloth. He is still very upset about the lack of respect shown to him as an individual, never mind as a paying customer. Although this particular member of staff did then try to be more friendly/helpful when she heard us discussing the incident.

Amazing location, beautiful layout, greeted with Prosecco and chocolates was a lovely touch. Milk, tea, coffee and biscuits were also a lovey touch too. Excellent communication with owners.

The location is ideal, right on the front. Are room looked out on to Southbeach with Caldy island in the distance. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and always happy to help.

The only fault we could make is the shower in the bathroom had no power apart from that it's all good.

The property was spacious and comfortable. The jacuzzi was a lot of fun. Being walking distance to the beach and shops was really handy.

It would have been good to have a welcome pack with instructions on how to use anything (such as the hot tub, TV, WiFi etc). We worked everything out eventually although still have no idea if we were meant to have added any chemicals to the hot tub. There were lots of bits and pieces in need of repair - light bulbs not working, wallpaper peeling off walls, doors not closing properly. None of these were major issues or prevented us from enjoying our stay but they seem like things that could be easily fixed. The main bathroom is accessed through the master bedroom. Whilst this was fine for us, as we are a family, it may not work so well for others. It would have been good for this to be noted in the description details.

Great host, quick communication. Excellent parking ( v useful in Cambridge) and nice walk into town. Very clean and great value.
