The best thing about this hostel is the restaurant which does the best pizzas! Unfortunately it wasn’t open on Tuesday when we stayed but we still had a lovely stay. It is only a short walk into Llanberis for other pubs and restaurants. The room was small but cosy and the bed was comfy. We appreciated tea making facilities. We received a warm welcome from the host.

The place was clean and well presented and modern looking. Although a two bedroom flat it felt quite spacious even with the 6 of us in there. It gave us a good base to visit family and friends in the area, and the hosts were quick to respond to any queries. Would recommend and will mark this for a stay over in the future if available when we travel.

The location of the hotel itself is spectacular, everything is nearby, yet quiet and accessible. Really for any recommendation. Breakfast is generally ok, but after a few days it becomes monotonous and the same, a little change in the morning wouldn't hurt. But for the price of the mix everything is more than ok!

Comfy bed. Clean yet small room. Lovely shower actually! Picturesque location but then that's not too difficult in Snowdonia I guess! Clear communication of check-in and check-out.

There was no parking available despite instructions received on the day. Thankfully parking outside the library a 1 minute walk away was ok on a Saturday night. Sadly couldn't get breakfast, no reply was given to a request to have it half an hour earlier than usual serving times. Would say communication prior to arriving was clear and was delivered via WhatsApp, but then no further communication was possible once I arrived, despite the questions I asked about parking and breakfast. So if you want to leave early, you'll miss breakfast it seems, but that's fair enough. Big negative for me was there weren't enough curtains/blinds, some windows left bare so it meant light came through strong in the morning. Ok for me as I wanted to wake up before sunrise, but a problem for anyone looking to sleep in longer.

The toilet was a bit ‘compact’…. And the toilet roll holder was right ‘on top’ of you giving you no room to manoeuvre 😂
