Location is absolutely amazing! Close to the lake and palace, very lovely walk. Kitchen was well-equipped. There was some problem with hot water, but host contacted me in advance and offered several alternative ways to deal with it. I really appreciate how well it was sorted in the end.

We came here just after covid in 2022. We enjoyed our stay then so decided to return as the bungalow and location suits us. The Burrow has all your essential items for a week's stay. It's comfortable and feels very much at home here.

The pod was cosy and it had most of the things that you could require. The area is very calm and close to Fort William and Glenfinnan. I think that it was a nice place.

The coach was incredibly uncomfortable and there was no option for heating food like a microwave or a toaster. However, the owner left instant porridge and coffee.

I the very center of Portree, next to the main square, restaurants. Staff did their best and were generally nice.

Really old building and facilities. Noisy even with closed windows. Everyhing would need renovation and makeover. For that price one should get way higher standard. Staff did their best to keep the building clean, rooms were very clean, but bathrooms were just used by many people, old toilets, sinks, poor water pressure and dampness. Washers and dryers are a standard in hostels, although the room with washers and dryers was rather dirty and machines seemed old and didn't look like were cleaned. Food smells from the kitchen were all around the place, even on 1st floor. No bedside tables and furniture other than chairs i the private room, very poor reading light by the bed. Private room was great for 2 people, but there was place for 6 and for 6 it would be very little space.

Room was comfortable and a good size. Foòd was good and the staff friendly and welcoming.

There was a lot of noise coming up from the pub in the evening, with music playing until gone midnight. Conversation etc from the bar is only to be expected when staying at a pub, but the music could have been turned off/down earlier. Breakfast coffee was awful.

View of fire escape and back yard. Drink served in glass with lipstick mark - manager thought it ok to pour same drink into new glass. 10% service charge automatically added to food bill leaving customer with the onus of removing it.
