We enjoyed our stay! The host is welcoming and friendly. A nice welcome pack was a very pleasant bonus! The studio is clean and comfortable. It is conveniently located to explore the areas around - we visited Oban, Ganavan Sands, Glencoe, Fort William and Cruachan Power Station. We would love to stay longer!

The location. The overall look. The breathtaking views. Heating - it was a bit too warm for us but nice that the heating was functional. The initial contact with the host. He seemed like a good man.

The facilities: 1. There was no free parking. We were told to park across the property, pay for parking and would be reimbursed. I provided a copy of the receipt and am yet to receive the promised reimbursement. No acknowledgement of email either. 2. There was no internet facility. The internet wasn't working i.e connected but no access. The owner said it would be sorted but nothing was done about it. The TV also had no signal. So the facilities advertised weren't actually available for use. 3. My understanding is that the property can accommodate 4people but being a family of three there were two tea cups/mugs and three plates. 4. The bathroom had no bath mats laid 5. There wasn't any scrubber to wash the dishes (just dishwashing liquid), no kitchen towel either to wipe the dining table in the morning. 6. As a guest the cupboards in the bedroom cannot be used as they appear to be for hanging/dumping linen.

The hotel was modern inside and the room was ready before check in time, the facilities look lovely but we didn't use them but having the option to use them was nice.

The outside of the building is a little tired and needs updating the food is a little over priced and average quantity, the service we experienced was a little rude and I felt like an inconvenience when asking for water on the table and a clean fork, it was also very awkward when I asked to try a sample of the bottle of wine that I wanted to order.

Close to all amenities. Very touched that Steve came to our aid re the door locks. Very quiet. We'll definitely recommend to others

All the following is purely constructive criticism:- Sticky locks. Loose handle on stairs. No shower mat (very slippery floor). Staff should enquire re dairy requirements as we don't drink dairy. Would be great if they provided a velcro sponge or brush for the washing up. Towels were super small.
