Clean, cosy and comfortable with everything we needed and more. The owner gave very informative welcome information. Otters Retreat has the best plot on the site, we loved the location. Hot tub was cleaned and was an added luxury. Great base for exploring with Alnwick and the coastal routes only a short drive. I will recommend.

Facilities were nice and clean and not really hotels fault that people next door had a 3 hour long domestic which resulted in a punch up. Did write and complain but completely ignored. My six year old lay terrified as we couldn't leave our room. Staffless and no emergency number in room to call. It was frightening.

Good location for event near Nottingham. Quick and easy check in, staff all very friendly. Had evening meal & breakfast in bar/restaurant adjacent, all good. Rooms a decent size with all you need for 1 or 2 nights.

Easy to get to and only a short walk to the Cathedral and Castle without going up the hill. Good places to eat and have a drink for going out and local shops. Street parking was not a problem.

Coffee machine not working. Room could have done with a really good sweep (although the rest of it was very clean). We found someone else’s toenail on the floor.

Excelent! Great location, 10 min walk to Stratford Ceneter&Underground. Looks better than in the pictures. I would recommend it to anyone.

Broken internal door lock and non functional external door lock. They moved my room when told about non working room door lock. Constant banging through the night from somewhere external in apartments. Car parking not really secure as on the closed parking lot of a tyre place or in dark back street which was hidden from view. After mentioning they let me park directly outside reception. Person smoking outside unsecured door apartment entrance which may/may not be a guest
