Great location right next to the DLR line which was really handy and the staff were very friendly. 2 cans of water were kindly provided in the room and the free 24/7 tea and coffee station in reception area was much appreciated. Breakfast buffet was very basic but enjoyable. I was only here for one night, so the room size + facilities were just what I needed for a short trip, but I personally don't think it would suit a stay any longer than this.

Very noisy plumbing when using any of the bathroom facilities - this didn't bother me much during the day but it was a concern late evening/night as the neighbouring rooms must have been able to hear it.

Very clean in room and comfortable. Hosts were excellent, they went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend this place. And would be rebooking in future.

Breakfast & Lunch we had were very good and the staff friendly and helpful. Location was very good with good parking.

Ensuite bathroom was extremely small (understand had to be fitted in very old building) and bed was very hard and bed linen past its best. The main bar and restaurant areas were ok although some areas need a bit of TLC (ceilings) and the outside seating and car park areas were a bit scruffy. Worst thing was the main bar/restaurant toilet facilities which were shabby and smelly. Positionally and character wise the place has a lot going for it and judging by the amount of covers does a fairly good trade at times so shame to spoil it for a few points which even in difficult trading times shouldn't take much improving (toilet cleaner, paint and tidying up outside are pretty cheap and first impressions count for a lot).

Hot water did not work. The gas boiler is faulty to the point that they have manual how to restart it. One day even that did not work and we had to call the maintenance. But even after that it was usual to restart it twice during one person’s shower. Shower in one of the two bedrooms fluctuates between hot and cold even when boiler works. Everything in the apartment is semi-broken. Some windows cannot be opened, only half of the toaster works, there is oven in the kitchen but no oven tray, there is a lot of knives but no cutting board. Definitely not adequate for the money we’ve paid.
