Location was superb-residential but walkable to restaurants and on West side of Eastbourne which suited us. Lovely coastal walks within a few minutes drive and parking available. Lovely cotton bedding and towels, quality furnishings and all comforts in room -even sweets and biscuits! Hosts were wonderfully welcoming, informative and did everything they could to please. Superb breakfasts.

well i was totally gobsmacked when i arrived at this property. the location was perfect, total privacy also. i could relax straight away as i got there. what a lovely place. spacious property and very comfortable. your not overlooked by anyone. the garden space at the back was very spacious indeed. the hosts have designed this place for every circumstances. totally enjoyed my stay.

First stay since the modern hotel accommodation has been attached to the original listed Art Deco building - made a pretty good job of it. Room was larger than expected and very comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was okay, lots of choice although hot buffet option is never as good as freshly cooked to order. Rooms well noise insulated against traffic noise.

Slightly disappointed that you charged for late checkout. I can understand why you might, but for what you charged you probably could have waved it and got a 5 Star Review.

It's a great place to spend the night - out of the way of all major roads, nice and quiet. We had a great nights sleep, and breakfast exceeded our expectations - tasty, plenty to choose from. You do have to show up to breakfast on the alloted time slot, but the food was delicious.

One reception fellow was lovely and welcoming. I wouldn't have employed the others. Frugal and reminded me of Catholic boarding school in the 1970's. Too far from food places. A vending machine with muesli bars & snacks generally would be a good idea. If you forgot something from your room when in the kitchen (East wing) it's a long way & up 2 flights of stairs over in the West wing to retrieve what you need. Absolutely nothing in the showers to put a bar of soap on (or anything really). I would imagine a jail would have more basic facilities.
