A nice comfortable stay . The room and sheets were very clean . The staff were excellent. They couldn’t do enough for you . We arrived late and they even cooked for us . Will definitely stay again at some point

If the experience I had wasn’t as bad as it was it wouldn’t have been a bad stay, as the room was ok for what we paid.

All of my experience was terrible! Before I arrived the hotel harassed me with calls and texts to confirm that I was ok with the location change (to which I had no option to accept because by the time I was told all other hotels in the area were fully booked). In the first night the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, and because the hotel is ‘unmanned’ nobody arrived until an hour and a half later. Once the alarm was turned off we had to wait for the fire brigade to inspect the building , and then leave. The following night we were unable to sleep because of the noise , of both other guests and people in other others in the street. I’m not unreasonable nor a party pooper , but even with the earphones on we had no sleep either nights!

Where do I begin. On first glance the house was clean. The cleaner cleaned whatever surface is visible by first glance I suppose. But on a better look the house was so dirty. They need to deep clean every once in a while. And it’s something that many people have commented but I never suspected that it would be that bad or that after all these comments they would have fixed the problem. But unfortunately that wasn’t the case. The washing machine wasn’t working. The bathroom needs a complete fixing. Everything is broken there. The phone isn’t working, the bathtub has a huge whole, there are holes in the door and walls. And it’s slippery. You have nothing to hold on to. One of us fell in the bathtub because of that. The towels were dirty. The pillowcases were dirty. The walls, the floors were dirty. The window were old so the rooms were always freezing. Also, they said that this place can accommodate 5 people. We were 5 people. I asked for a second set of keys. Because we weren’t travelling together and we were five people. They said they would charge us 80£ extra to give us a second set of keys. Something that I found unacceptable. Also, it was very hard to communicate with them. I think they have bots that just give you an automate message every time you wanted to contact them. We have only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 6 days, no trash bags, no facilities for the washing machine (that we later found that it wasn’t working). For someone that reminded us for months in advance about the rules of the house and how they wanted us to leave it when we left and how much we would be charged if we brake something, for sure didn’t live up to the expectations. Very good location. Good car park.

No hot water to wash pots. Had to boil kettle. Had a dishwasher, but was already full of dishes. No TV aerial. Internet channel but WiFi unreliable. If you have kids beware.
