Amy is very welcoming the moment you step through the door, with a warm smile and bubbly personality. The exterior is colourful, with seating and garden flowers giving you time to chill and relax outside. It's like home from home with a special touch. The room we had was perfect for 3 adults with plenty of space, light and airy. The special touch of soft dressing gowns with plenty of towels provided meant you could relax before going down to have the most amazing English breakfast made to order. This was piping hot with top quality bacon and sausages, etc, with no need for lunch. Location wise, you are simply five minutes walk from the harbour and town, which again is absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend staying at this charming and wonderful establishment.

This is a perfect location for exploring the centre of Birmingham with its canal waterways; the car stayed in the car park! We were immediately upgraded on arrival which was also very much appreciated. The bar area was a place we enjoyed a nightcap as well.

The car park was difficult to find using the hotel directions and we had to find the property on foot before then re parking the car. We had also not been told that we would be unable to leave when we wanted to on check out due to the half marathon road closures. This delayed our departure and planned visits had to be rearranged; we would have stayed or rearranged our plans.

Nice quiet room with excellent bathroom and comfy bed. The staff helped us by carrying our suitcase up the stairs. It was good to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Plenty of parking very close to the room.

We booked for 3 people and the sofa bed was not made, both sofa bed and bed have terrible mattresses and the main bed was a bit small for the room. The place is really nice but it was a little run down especially the en suite bathroom had paint coming off the roof and the door didn't close properly. It was the only place available in the area when we booked but I found it to be a little overpriced

i did not like the way you are railroaded into paying the £35 waver the only other option is £500 deposit which you dont get back for 14 days after checkout . Running a business is hard enough and cashflow is essential . This would have caused a cashflow issue so i had no choice in paying the non refundable £35 . The internet also did not work for the full 3 nights i tried to contact on numerous occasions without success

We had two dirty rooms with stains on the walls and unclean bedding. Not value for the money, didn’t want to stay for breakfast after the cleanliness of the rooms.
