The lodge was very well presented it was a lovely location and Heron Lakes itself was a lovely park complex. The site was very peaceful and relaxing. It was a wonderful place to stay. The facilities were excellent and the hot tub was amazing.

One of the first caravan on the site which is very good if you have kids and they want to be in and out on the beach and playground 😉

The pillows and duvets definitely needs updating because they look very bad. It wasn't the cleanest caravan and the smell was very bad when we arrived but I took everything with me as I didn't expect a 5* hotel. Took our own duvet, pillow,pans, cutlery,cups... etc.

Everything, room was not clean,needs refurbishment throughout,bed linen marked, cups dirty in room and breakfast room, as well as cutlery and plates too. Shower didn’t work (no pressure) had to change room next day. The shower did work in this room but all the other problems were the same. Terrible smell in bathrooms. Only one lift throughout the hotel which has over 500 rooms, not good. This also kept stopping or breaking down, cause you can’t get more than 4 people in at a time. If you have suitcases only 2 people at a time. We paid for front facing room which was extra, unfortunately at first we did not get this till I complained the following day, but nothing was refunded or a good gesture of a drink was not offered, nor an apology. Not a good experience.
