Positive section of review
The location of the cottage is perfect. It has off-street parking, which was invaluable to us. The cottage is very well equipped, cosy, and the beds are very comfortable. The milk in the fridge was very much appreciated, as was the information about the cottage and area. The shower was very powerful, and the water was nice and hot. The blinds were great for making the bedrooms nice and dark. The neighbours were very helpful and friendly (we loved Heather). It's also great that it's pet friendly. There is a very pretty view, just behind the houses opposite. The resident ducks were a big hit with our children. There is a Sainsbury's, Aldi, and an Iceland, a very short drive away. Handy for stocking up.

Not a dislike, but an observation for the owner: There is a very musty smell in the bathroom. We noticed the shower leaked through the screen no matter what we tried to do to prevent it. It's not a major problem, but it might need to be looked at so no damage is done to your lovely cottage. A rotary washing line would have been handy.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Rooms and hotel is finished to a very high standard, I almost didn’t expect it from the outside. The lady working behind the desk was lovely and the pastries and water offered to guests was a kind gesture. Perfect location too just a short walk away from the centre of Richmond. We’ve stayed in a lot of hotels for work in London and I think this is one of if not our favourite!

Very clean, room was spotless. All the staff we came across were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and plenty of options available. Location perfect for using park and ride to the city centre, really straight forward and only a few mins drive to.

Matt, the concierge was fantastic. He gave us a warm welcome and look after us sooooo well. The rooms were bright and airy, the rooms were well equipped. It felt like a home from home. The fireworks on the beach would have been missed if it were not for Matt.

Clean, extremely comfortable with an incredible view out across Loch Fyne. The host was lovely, very personable and an excellent breakfast-maker! Would highly recommend.
