The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

The reception was very professional and friendly, check-in was quick. The rooms are organised in a bit of a maze but otherwise clean, roomy, quiet, and new. The air-conditioning was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Finding the hotel was easy and I could quickly get to the other terminal with the monorail. Would definitely recommend if you need to stay close to the airport!

Everything was great, only the way to the rooms could be a bit easier to find

Beautiful cottage, in a really great location for the heart of Bakewell. The property was so well stocked with everything we needed. The bedrooms were a great size and beds all really comfortable. Fabulous for a group of friends to meet up, go walking and pop into Bakewell for food and drinks of an evening.

very small niggles, arrival is a little tense as the property is on a corner of a road so unloading was a little tense, and as we had 3 cars between us parking is not outside of property. Just to be aware if you are not arriving all together. 2 very minor points in the property, the wifi was almost non existent and the shower was a little shaky, but nothing that took away from the property.

Location is great, close to centre, but a nice quiet spot. Staff excellent- helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and the cafe area great. Being able to book a parking spot was really useful, although its easy to get to on public transport or walking too.

Room was basic, and lots of noise from other rooms. Pipes made a lot of noise when hot water was running. But only minor things- the room was spot on for what I needed and comfortable and clean.

The little touches like the drinks trolley, the view, the staff were all great.

The lighting in the bathroom is very poor for doing makeup and cosmetics.

Close to Bath centre and free parking.

Mattress extremely hard. Wetroom/shower floor tiles slippy. No shelf in shower room. No drawers for clothes just a cupboard wardrobe with a shelf.

Deceptive Listing, Disappointing Stay
Negative section of review
I booked what was advertised as a luxury accommodation, but it was far from it. The listing didn't mention that I'd be sharing the house with over 12 people. The property was in poor condition: moldy walls, dust under the bed, and low-quality, unpacked furniture. Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt like I was invading someone else's space. There was no welcoming team, as promised, and basic amenities like hot water and internet were unreliable. The building lacked any security measures, not even a fire extinguisher, and the loose tiles on the staircase were a safety hazard.

1st room overlooked back yard with rubbish in. No tv reception, man offered another room but not single beds and on first floor. Declined this, when owner (?) came she offered us another room, ground floor, double&single beds. TV reception still bad. Duvets are stuffed in the open wardrobes, clean but badly creased. It was only 1 night so ok.
