The garden flat was very bright, comfortable, clean with a lovely garden. Amazing location walking distance from the stunning promenade and unmissable Eastbourne Pier. Cherry on top of the cake, the host left us a nice bottle of wine for us to enjoy! Highly recommended! P.s. My son loved that the hand soap said “your having a giraffe” 🤣

Staff were very accommodating during our rushed check in (we were late for a wedding after trouble getting over the Dartford Crossing). Cooked breakfast and veggie breakfast were both fabulous.

Location is a little bit out of the way, however there is a bus stop right outside or it's £5 - £7 in a taxi to the centre.

The room was lovely but we prefer a larger room. There was no on-site parking. The nearest parking was a few blocks away. Having the option for valet parking would have improved our experience.

Arriving at 4pm and the rooms where not ready. Did get an alternative to support however the state of the room was awful. The carpets are all stained, the shower head was so clogged up and dirty that the water came out like a broken tap. I had to clean the sink before use and the shower walls, door and bottles left where also required to be cleaned before using the facilities. Went to use the hairdryer and that was also broken. For £199 per night, its very considerably over priced for the lack of basic facilities in the room. The reception staff where nice at checkin and did support a room chnage as apprently cleaning staff where running behind, but I honestly don't think other than making the bed, anything was attempted to be cleaned. I honestly don't expect the world, but for the price I do expect at least feeling clean in your own room. We where only there for the night and after 6 hours of travel it just wasn't worth even attempting to change rooms as there was limited trust this would make any difference.
