The best B & B ever!!! We were very welcomed by Martin and Cathy who were wonderful hosts. Providing valuable information about the area and Cornwall in general. Our bedroom was very large more like a studio with en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was amazing and would trump any 5 star hotel. Paul village is quaint and has a pub for a good meal. You can walk downhill to Mousehole or Newlyn (opposite direction) with excellent views along the way. There's a local bus from Mousehole which is very convenient.

Staff at reception was not customer minded. We came by car and they never mentioned nor provided in any other way any information on the parking conditions around the hotel. Hotel has no parking in front to unload or load the car, it's from another company. So we ended up with a nifty fine of 60 pounds. Which Could easily be avoid by the hotel reception mentioning this at checkin, putting a sign or paper on the door, providing the same info in the room or by email prior to arrival. Hotel didn't recognize or concider that as being a good idea to help their guest to endup with a parking fine. Very disappointed and never experienced this sort of mind set of a reception and also the hotel who I emailed about this and never in their reply did they recognize the could have help avoid the misunderstanding of the parking situation.

The room was the smallest we've ever encountered and poorly lit, with no facilities to be able to use a computer, including a chair and small table. I had to climb over my partner in bed to go to the toilet. The staff gave us an incorrect address and route to access overnight parking. The breakfast was inedible and taken sitting on the edge of the bed for want of better.
