The place was an absolute joy to stay in and me and my friend loved the location. The view from the front was stunning and we enjoyed sitting outside with perfect weather. It’s a beautiful house and we loved everything about it especially the decor and furnishings. It was a perfect location for daily outings to parts of the Peak District.

Nice beach front garden , Everything else I’d expect in the rooms from Greene King . Bed was very comfy and also even though along the road where it is , It’s very quiet

Location was good, though trains stopped running to Kew Gardens twice during our short stay which was really inconvenient. Some staff were friendly.

Room was incredibly hot the entire time, even overnight. Daytime temps were only about 22-23 degrees but there was no ventilation and the room just wouldn’t cool down even overnight with the window wide open. Fan in room was broken and had to request new one several times before it was received. We ended up with loads of flies and insects in the room as we could never close the window and there was no fly screen. Breakfast was quite good but super slow so would not recommend if you’re in a rush! Person who checked us in was unfriendly. Might be fine in winter but would not recommend in any slightly warmer weather.

It was very clean and comfortable and within good walking distance of Windsor town centre and the castle.

The staff responded quickly to issues and we were given a new room without having to ask.

11 emails prior to joining including a request for a review of our stay before we had left home. Over complicated arrival system Unable to access our room due to locked adjoining door Dormer window blind broken No teaspoons Very sterile decor Towell rail was on full blast so bathroom was boiling. Very expensive for a no frills hotel Would not stay there again.

The location was stunning.

The place was deserted. People were getting turned away all afternoon due to the restaurant closing early. We sat out back and watched at least a dozen car loads being turned away in a few hours. How they make money I have no idea. The room we were allocated was tiny, dated furniture and a bathroom with no window. Nothing like the photographs. It is not 5 star. I would give it 1 star. The bar shut at 10pm. For a place this size and in the area it is I thought it would be booming. Sadly not. Will not be back. If in Glencoe again I will be staying elsewhere. Overpriced for what you get. No atmosphere.
