Loved the cottage and location. Very charming and situated on the river. The cottage has everything that one needs to stay for a number of days. The downstairs loo is a great advantage as well. Close to the centre of the city. Go to the Goods Shed for dinner, fabulous.

We had difficulty finding the place because the maps directed us to Greyfriars Lodge instead. When we entered the postal code, it led us to a gated area (clearwater Mews) where parking was not possible. Finding car access to the property was challenging, especially because the wooden gate was closed. Maneuvering our small SUV was quite tight, and parking in front of the cottage was hindered by the doorstep. To find the property look out for Taylors Hairdressing 1 St Edmunds Rd, Hospital lane and Clearwater Mews - the access is along a small narrow lane between these streets. Hope this helps.

Always stay at Igloo Hybrid. Central, with the option of dorms or private rooms. Clean, comfortable.

It’s a good location and the lobby is quite well presented. The beds are very comfortable.

The flecked wall paper gave the rooms a cheap and flimsy feel- it’s very late 1990’s early 2000’s. The window in our room didn’t work, which despite there being Aircon ; in the middle of summer it’s no substitute for fresh air. In our friends room, they didn’t get a waste bin and their television didn’t work. There are no bed side phones and you sort of have to wait a long time for the lifts . Moreover, a few members of staff seemed very “over it” and a bit rude.

Customer service not helpful , we were very unhappy with the room and requested to change room, reception staff were not helpful , they simply responded no room available and don’t care how disappointed we are . Breakfast is awful . Dirty kettle and dusty sofa , I couldn’t sleep for the whole night !

Very basic, we had 2 rooms only one had a fridge there was a strong smell in both hall and room stele needs to be mounted on wall no cupboard doors
