  Spacious clean well maintained in general. Ideal for family group wanting this specific location. Thanks to owners and hosts.

  Situation ideal for our purposes as a family funeral. So group accommodated and location main interest. But not much good out door space. Oven trays tatty well used, could do with refresh. But other wise all very good.

  Position of the hotel in a nice quiet area, but easy walking distance from centre, friendly staff.

  Noisy customers. We were staying in a room at the front of the hotel, it was hot so we opened the windows but had to keep shutting then due to the noisy customers sitting outside, the night porter did his best and asked them twice to keep the noise down, and a thoughtless driver sitting chatting with his car engine running! I would like to think thIs is not the norm as I think the hotel has a lot going for it.
