Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room had everything you needed, lots of space, cupboards and bed very comfy. Beautiful views from the outside seating area.

Too many fish options and most meals came with chips. Could do with a more varied menu. Also lighter bites could be served later too as didn't always want a main meal in the evening. I had the yellow Thai curry which was very bland and tasteless, also heard people on other tables complain about different foods. Very overpriced menu.

Stayed here with family. Unfortunately house is old, and everything needs replacing with new. Overpriced. No day blinds or curtains in bedrooms or kitchen. It was not worth the money we paid for one night compared to all other stays we had in past 😔

There’s isn’t a lot we liked as it was dirty

From the moment we walked in it was noted how dirty it was and smelt musty , there was cobwebs and general dust on the skirting boards and the shower surround was grubby and around the toilet area was dirty and rusty , once unpacked we went for a walk and on return we noticed ants all over the kitchen work top and around the sink and window I opened the cupboard to find it was full of ants and they were all over our food which most of it had to be binned as they were in the bread and the fruit and some cakes for the weekend I lifted a Carrier bag up on the bottom of the cupboard to find an open pack of fudge that was left by the last occupant full of ants which had not been cleaned out , I drove to near Yarmouth the next day to an Asda to buy ant spray and gave the kitchen a clean and sprayed it with the ant spray and also around the front door as they were all around that area , the floor area around the table was worn away and the sofas were dirty and had gray throws on them to tidy them up the pictures showed it a lovely clean place over some other pictures of other holiday homes but it was really disgusting .

There was a bit of a funky smell when we first went in, we have been to many lodges this one just felt a bit basic for us think we have gotten used to the luxury ones. No welcome pack, hot tub wasn’t very powerful or clean, there was a lose bit of decking which my daughter hurt her self on twice. WiFi was different to what instructions I had received, leaflets and menus was very outdated.

The cleanliness was poor as there was a terrible smell of surge in the room, the swimming pool was green and dirty and no useable, the windows were banging in the wind all night, the hallways were very unclean. And no lifts at the property!
