The owners went above and beyond when my wife was taken into hospital. They were kind considerate and helpful. The whole house is clean and beautifully decorated and the bed was large and very comfortable. Breakfast had a good choice and was well cooked and delicious. Would certainly recommend this hotel. The property is very spacious and is in a perfect location for exploring London. Very quiet area with it being tucked off tye main road. Would stay again.

Would have been nice to have been informed that the restaurant would be closed that evening due to lack of staff. Luckily, there is a large Chinese restaurant underneath which served delicious food, but was quite an expensive meal.

It is a pet friendly hotel, but we couldn’t take our dogs into the bar or restaurant. We had to sit outside which is under cover on a terrace in the smoking area and we don’t smoke! It was raining and a little chilly eating our evening meal outside. There should be a dog friendly area within the indoor restaurant out of the cold and where we can relax to have a drink too. So many pubs/restaurants and cafes are now dog friendly Please amend your policies.

Doubles bed very small,sounds like hot water coming through room,and pipework creaking all night, no bottled water to drink as most hotel do have,cold plate for breakfast therefore food was cold,

Wouldn’t let us check in at previously agreed time. Kept me and my daughter hanging around in reception for 20mins, then tried telling us we wouldn’t be getting twin room. All sorted in the end, but a bad start always leaves a bad taste. Nothing about the hotel was special and my overall opinion was that the check in irritated me too much to ever consider going near the hotel group again
