The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

The property has everything you could possibly need. It’s perfect for family’s with dogs, location is perfect. The heaters take a while to warm the whole chalet but once it’s warm it’s lovely. WiFi was abit iffy but we didn’t mind as the dvd collection was great and we only used chalet as a base for our adventures. Would like to thank the hosts for a lovely stay and kind gift of the welcome basket! 😊

WiFi wasn’t the best, heaters took a small while to warm up chalet. Both not major issues at all

We visited Appleby for three nights with our dogs so this house was great because of the enclosed garden. The property is in a fabulous location and Mark is super duper helpful! The house is very dated but served our purpose. The stairs are a challenge especially if you have a little drink or three on holiday! We would return if ever in the area again. Thanks Mark!

The stairs, even our dogs were unsure of the stairs.

As we were going to see the Ukraine Opera House production of Carmen at the Princess Theatre; we stayed at this hotel due to its location to the theatre. The bedroom on the fourth floor was spacious and provided a nice sea view. Breakfast was good, plentiful and in a very nice large room with street views!

Check-in was not easy. There is nowhere to deposit your luggage and pick up your car park discount token from reception. Busy public car park is 75 yards away. Our bathroom was small with a poor ventilation fan which led to an awful smell throughout. Fault was reported. There is only one lift to service 111 bedroom guests and this broke down the next morning!! Overall the hotel although tired was good value as a B&B for one night.

Accessible bathroom as standard was a refreshing change. Design of the room was good to allow wheelchair movability. Early check in was accommodated with no fuss.

Design of the restaurant meant noise levels where particularly loud.

It was a small single room but warm and the bathroom was spacious and clean. Close to town centre and beach but not too close to be loud.

The curtains were not hanged properly and there was a bit of dust but noting to worry about.

Location is excellent and right in the city centre, beds were comfy and hairdryer and kettle with milk and tea were provided.

Windows were too high up so couldn’t see out of them, only one tiny bar of soap for the sink. The key card stopped working and we had to be let back into our rooms, although the card was restarted at reception. Quite old-fashioned inside.
