The staff were phenomenal, making us feel looked after and treated in a way we've never really experienced before. Gigantic room. Attention to detail, quality of furnishings, design overall, are all on a very high level. The bowl of fruit waiting for us in the room was a lovely touch, and of course the wonderful, very large, fresh-scented swimming pool.

The £200 deposit upon arrival "just in case" was a bit of a surprise. Also one of the sinks in the bathroom was clogged.

The first room we got was on the 3rd floor. A REALLY TINY ROOM. We had no space to put our clothes, we could hardly move. It was also really noisy, with airco's outside our window. We asked for a different room and we got it, on the second floor. I do hope the rooms on the 3rd floor are sold at a much better price because they are extremely small.

Had an amazing stay , the place was very homely and beautiful decorated with lovely fresh produce from the Farm (they really thought of everything). The views there were also amazing.

****** AVOID ***** Where to start? The lad at the desk wasn't helpful about the food & how it worked, we asked if we could order food got told yes we can eat , but then half hour later got told it was to late at 4.30pm so had walk all way into town for tea. Still no idea how to order food , didn't even offer if we wanted breakfast the next morning so again had go else where. The lad giggled when I asked for a menu ? He said they don't do food menus Honestly shocking and unprofessional. The lad wasn't clear at all and needs retraining he bearly spoke in sentences, we didn't get told how to order food at any point in our stay so we went else where for dining. £15 charge for a dog everywhere else is £10. BLOOD on the bath matt. BLOOD up the wall near bed. THICK dust all on skirting boards & bedside tables, bathroom needed a good clean , bathroom bin lid full of hairs & dust. Bedroom floor needed a good hoover. The bedding felt clean but actually had marks on sheets. ( luckily I always pack wipes so I wiped around & cleaned the bathroom myself ) I understand this was a pet friendly room but I still expected a clean room / bathroom , think they need hire new cleaners. Oh also the cups in the room for tea & coffee clearly been used by guest before us, in one cup there was only milk available no tea or coffee the cup still had water in the bottom of the cup from previous guests. SHOCKING WI-FI CONNECTION No one at the desk when leaving so just left the key on the desk. We was glad to leave and never return. ****AVOID SAVE YOUR MONEY ***

Hotel is relatively new and in my opinion not ready to welcome guests.. lack of staff hinders the experience. Can’t access the property unless you have your key card or a member of staff grants you access - no signs up so also hard to find. I was informed breakfast was included, but on both days I went to the restaurant/ bar area but was unable to access the room as it was locked and no staff were around. I’ve requested invoices three times with no success - if not received will ask credit card company to reverse the charge as I need an invoice to claim the costs back. Shame, as it has potential to be a good hotel, even with its tiny rooms and lack of nearby parking.
